And here is my contribution to the exciting links. In the menu on the right you can find sub-pages for specific topics. On this page are first the links and forms that I for various reasons find it most useful to have fast access to, with as little explanation as possible (i.e. none) to have as many as possible on the screen at once. Following that are some links to sites I have come across recently that I thought people might like, mostly fun stuff. Finally are some links that deserve special mention but didn't exactly fit in any of the other categories.

Recent Fun and Other Notable Stuff

• The 2009 Calendar - I'm using this section far too little, I only had to move this link up one point with the new year.
• Moshikame at Kendamaspot - Check the video at the bottom, learn the song, and buy one at Kendama-World.
• I live in the wrong time, I would so like to have seen one of these live, be it an American or a Sovyet, they're so beautiful. Even underground they're pretty impressive, as long as there are no cities nearby.
• Man of Steel, Woman of Kleenex - A short essay by Larry Niven on the reproductive options available to Superman. Perhaps a bit silly... :)
• Shtetl-Optimized - a blog of quantum computing, I think it is, in this installment a good explanation of what quantum computing can do - as opposed to what it can't do. Earlier he gives a good explanation of the (non)importance of belief in science.
• The Complete Work of Charles Darwin Online - what more can I say, the complete work of one of the most important scientists ever. Read it, understand it, enjoy it, enjoy life and reality. And if you like, there's also a site with material in Danish translation, Darwins skrifter online.
• Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening - by Robert Frost, here's another copy.
• Girls and Corpses - finally a website that caters specifically to the tastes of the most discriminating connoisseurs. follow the link and enjoy the beauty and the wonder of girls... and... corpses!
• The Best Page in the Universe - the title is an exaggeration, after all, if you're reading this, you've already found the best, but this one is also pretty good, the movie reviews in particular are very accurate.
• Starry Night LEGO Mosaic - reproductions as a rule are the antithesis of art, but there are exceptions and recreating Van Gogh's Starry Night in LEGO is such a magnificent endeavour, the result is a work of art in itself.
• The Story of Little Black Sambo by Helen Bannerman
• Minimal Porn - choose the picture gallery on the left, it's the most fun
• Fly Guy - if this doesn't make you happy, I don't know what will
• Tanz mit Laibach - with kittens

The best popular science magazine. I have subscribed since 1987 and I try to get hold of all the old issues I can. My only regret is, that I didn't get the pile that was sold on Dutch auction, only the few issues I thought I could afford to pay 10 kroner for.

The Digital Village

Or at least it used to be, but then Douglas Adams went and had a heart attack, and now this page is dedicated to his memory.

National Center for Supercomputing Applications

This part of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is definitely worth a visit. This is where the first Mosaic browser was made, and the most recent version is a lovely program. They make many other programs - as well as a lot of other things.

Ambrosia Software

The best Macintosh shareware games and a few other useful utilities. There's also links to several other interesting Macintosh sites.

S.P.I.T.

Supporters of Politically Incorrect Topics. There are some good jokes there, and anyway it is a worthy cause.
